Hello Hello!
Welcome to Whimsy Wednesday!
I've been creating in the studio as well as sprucing up a tad bit! This post will show a little of both!
First, the new creation!
Title: As Yet Unknown
There are more creations inspired by the spooky part of the season growing up, so stay tuned for that! In the meantime, let's chat about these earrings! The white skulls are howlite (which is often mistaken for turquoise) wrapped with hand-finished brass and accented with Czech glass and suspended from forest green Artistic wire. Howlite is thought to help focus the mind and articulate thoughts as well as calm the internal critic, stress, anger and etc. Some also believe that this stone aids in inner knowing, opening the third eye and seeing into other dimensions/time-space continuum. What an intriguing choice for skull beads, yes?
Next up!
A bit of that studio spruce up I mentioned!
I acquired a few new backgrounds for photos on a recent Walkabout!
Here they are!
Both of the backgrounds are of gorgeous, heavy, textured paper with embossed designs! The brown flows with spirals and the green grows with leaves! Aren't they fetching?! The textures will add visual interest whilst the consist colour of the backgrounds will be an excellent backdrop in which to showcase my creations! YAY!!!!
You'll have to stop back by to see how and when these are used! Whee!
One last thing of note before we take our leave of each other... There is a second session in the Welcome to Being Human series on BlogTalk Radio!
Sunday, Oct. 27th at 5pm (CST, USA) Cheryl Patton and I will be chatting about often impossible pedestal we humans (especially those in the healing arts) are placed on and the stifling effects of "always staying positive".
Who put us up there anyway?
Join us for insight, laughter and fun as we poke at the foiables and follies of life as Human Beans!
See you Friday!
Ciao!

Fini Friday! New Materials, New Directions!
Hello Hello!
Welcome to Fini Friday!
Today is a day chock-full of adventure and events, so let's get started!
I've lots of new materials to show you!
These are suede leather bracelets, cut in strips. I picked them up on Walkabout a few weekends back. Aren't they gorgeous!! I'm looking forward to playing with them... dangling things off of the various strips, pulling them in a Steampunk or Art Noveau direction or...?
YAY!!!
What you see in the next photo are two squares of fabric, which are also new additions to the studio! The lovely brown and green vine-y bit is slated to turn into a bag. The other fabric is just awesome! I fell in love with it but tried to talk myself out of it...until I saw the title of the design...Legend of the Mountain Faeries!!! And a bit of that had to come home with me! Who knows what it will grow into?!
I've a few new directions I'm moving into, so stay tuned!
Speaking of tuning in....
My next BlogTalk Radio Interview is coming up soon!
Next Tues., Oct 15th at 12 Noon (CST, USA) is the October Messages From the Faeries!
Pull up a chair and a cuppa of your favorite beverage as Cheryl and I discuss the insights the Faeries have to give for the mysterious month of October!
See you Monday!

Whimsy Wednesday! Doodles and Sketches!
Hello Hello!
Welcome to Whimsy Wednesday!
Today was a day of experimentation for me!
I sometimes have to carve out the time and approving mindset to just play with art. ...Doodling and sketching instead of creating finished pieces is something I sometimes have a hard time justifying to myself.
Yet it is this very exploring that helps stretch the boundaries of creativity!
So! Let me show you my medium of choice today!
I found this lovely reproduction of a turn-of-the-century Crayola Crayon tin during a recent Walkabout and had to bring it home!
I pondered what to do with it for a little while and then giggled as the idea to store my Crayola (of course!) coloured pencils in it! So many pretty colours to use and such a beautiful feast for the eyes when they are not in use!
YAY!!!
YAY!!!
And now...let me show you what I did with those pencils today!
These are the preliminary sketches for a series of upcoming projects.
What do you think?
I promise to update you-all with more details as soon as possible!
Before you go, I'll mention an exciting new event this
Sunday at 5pm (CST, USA)! I and Cheryl Patton will be teaming up for a special show Welcome To Being Human! Many times, people feel (especially in the various Healing paths) restricted in their ability to experience and express the entire range of human emotions and actions.
Often, we are offered a "barrage of rainbows" or not allowed to "go negative" during stressful times.
Where did this impossible pedestal we're on come from and who put us up here, anyway?!

Listen in while Amy and Cheryl chat about accepting our role of being human!
I do hope you can join us!
See you Friday!Ciao!

Magical Monday! Mushrooms and Monsters!
Hello Hello!
Welcome to Magical Monday!
I hope your weekend was fabulous! Mine was!
I've some beautiful and fun things to show you today, so let's get started!
This is a Mushroom lamp. I don't have a lot of details about it (though you can look them up here) and yet I think it is very Fairy-like! It is an excellent way to add a little Fairy Magic and mystery to any space! Whee!!!

Here is the first of the Monsters mentioned in the title! A snow monster!
Details and credits are here! I love seeing people play and enjoy the season, regardless of which season we're in.
The last of the Monsters I mentioned are Zombies. I've never been a fan of zombies and have let the zombie craze pass me by, however; this video of the Canadian Parliment discusses security measures regarding the Zombie Apocolypse gives me hope for governments everywhere!
So that's it for this Magical Monday!
Thanks for the visit!
Just a little reminder that I'll be back on the BlogTalk Radio air in a few days with Cheryl Patton of 1Woman's Wisdom!
Tuesday, Feb. 19th 3-3:30pm (CST, USA)
A Special February Message From the Faeries! I'm not giving any hints, so hop on over for a listen that day to hear their message!
Both of these will be in the archives for later listening if your schedule does not allow you to listen to me live!
I'll see you on Wednesday!
Ciao!

Magical Monday! Street Art!
Hello Everyone!
Welcome to Magical Monday!
I hope your weekend was full of rest and magic!
I'm thrilled to say that mine was!
This post is about the unlikely topic of Street Art! I've always loved the concept of an Art-full life and that's what this post is all about!
Let's dive in!
First, the illusion of warmth, cleverly made out of cardboard!
Credits and details are here!
Next up is a cute little bit of art!
Credit and details about it are here! Isn't that charming?!
I'll leave you with a comparison of neurons versus cities...
The first photograph is from NASA, (taken from the International Space Station!) with the rest of the details and credits here!
So that's it for Magical Monday!
Just a gentle reminder that my BlogTalk Radio interview with a Message From the Faeries specific to January is tomorrow!
Tuesday, Feb. 15th from 3-3:30pm (CST, USA)!
Come on over, rest and listen for a bit!
See you Wednesday!
Ciao!
