Secret Projects and Signing Off For a Bit...

Hello!!!
I'll be working on a few Creations to be at CONvergence, but most of the next few days will be in personal preparations for the convention. I've so much to do, but I wanted to share a few things before I sign off for my "working" vacation (and returning to the Interwebs next week)!
My friend Todd Murry has been building a Predator (remember that Predator movie with Arnold Schwarzenneger? or Aliens Vs. Predator?) costume for months now and I was so pleased when he asked me to assist him in the project. It has been absolutely AMAZING to see how this costume has come together!!! He needed Predator Dreadlock beads and commissioned me!!
They were a lot of fun to create and because of the hand-made (hand-texturing and 'carving') nature of each bead, I was pleased to be able offer Todd something truly unique. I think they turned out quite well!

Whew! Busy Week!

This week has been extremely busy for me, chalk full of lots of travel and time away from the Interwebs! I'm pleased to say that the MN Shadows Faire was a success this past weekend both financially, in making new contacts and developing deeper relationships with those I already know and in terms of feedback.
This was a bit of a new set-up for me. We brought the canopy framework for our outdoor tent, but strung Christmas lights around the top instead of the fabric canopy. It looked very Spritely and I am very pleased with it!! Now I just have to find a photo of it to show you!!!

In the meantime, I'll leave you with a photo of a very happy Creation and person, who found each other at the Faire this past Saturday!

All Sorts of Goodies!

Just in time for the MN Shadows Faire tomorrow and Sunday!
If you are in or near Saint Paul, MN, USA, feel free to stop by and take a peek at all of my new goodies! There are all sorts of exhibitors there. This is a holistic and art faire, so everything from Alternative Therapies (Esogenics, Ear Candling, Massage, etc.) to Intuitive Readers to Jewelry, Clothing (out of bamboo, even!) and much, much more. Admission is free :)
Door open at noon and the Faire closes at 6pm both days.
Also, come to see the Historic Mounds Theater. It has been renovated and restored to much of it's original Art Deco splendor..
