New Creation! A Necklace!

A Necklace:
Title: Unknown
Ingredients:Pewter, natural brass, base metal.
I've had this pewter pebble for a while and wrapped it with this natural brass filagree frame. Voila!
I love that the focal is as beautiful on the back as it is on the front and that the materials allowed me to keep the back of the focal open. Thus the necklace reversible!

New Creations! A Pendant

A Pendant:
Title: Enlightenment, Suspended
Ingredients: Hand-carved stone from Nepal, Sterling Silver
The mantra on the back reads "Om Mani Padme Hum" which is a Buddhist prayer for Universal Peace.
The other side features exquisitely carved eyes, meant to protect against evil or negative influences.

New Creations! Steampunk!

Both of these are up on my Etsy shop.

The first is a ring, size 7
Title: Spare Parts
Because you never know when you when old watch gears might come in handy!
Ingredients: Czech-pressed glass, old watch parts, non-tarnish brass wire
Two of the three gears can be turned by hand, the third gear does flip on the wire structure from time to time.

The second is a brooch
Title: A Small Token, Really...
As one might say of something that is actually quite impressive. Which is exactly what this is. This brooch seems simple upon first glance but isn't.
A heart dangling in air, flanked with old watch parts above and below and finished with a mysterious, faceted jewel that glows from within.
There are stories in this!
The perfect accessory to your Steam Punk persona or simply an intriguing creation to love and wear.
Ingredients:Recycled, Basemetal key brooch and heart, basemetal jumprings, old watch parts, 'sea opal' glass, hand-finished brass.
Key Brooch and dangle are both 1 and 3/8th inch long.

New Earrings!

I revisited a design I invented myself a while back. I call them "Chain-link" Earrings.
Here is one example:
Sea Blue

And a pair of wire-wrapped earrings. This is all suspended from a single strand of wire.

Rings!

Well, I had a new category of creations to debut at Braham Pie Day! Rings!!
I was inspired by seeing another artist and her ring work, so I thought I'd try my hand (get it, hand?!) at making rings.
I *love* it. These work up more rapidly than many of my creations and I get to play with wire!

Here is a 'group photo' of my first batch. I hope you like what you see!

I'm pleased to say that the two cat rings found their people at the Pie Day, YAY!!!

Pie! Or perhaps 3.14, etc.

Where in the world is Sprite Creations?
I'll be in Braham, MN this Friday from 10am to 6:30pm or so for Braham Pie Day!
Pie Day Art and Craft Festival is in Freedom Park, Main Street on Hwy 107, Braham, MN 55006
If you are lucky enough to have Friday off or can finagle it to be that way.. come on up to Braham and see the entertainment, me and my creations and, of course, Pie!

Braham is located about an hour north of Minneapolis/Saint Paul Metro Area at the intersection of Hwy 65 and 107.
This is a small town with a lot of heart and they require that all of their art and craft be original and hand-made.
So, you can feel good about supporting your local, indie artists!
